Upside down
Congratulations Baltimore, you have officially completed your transference of turning society upside down. Lets put Police Officers in jail and let the criminals out. As any LEO from a busy department will tell you being on call for court changes, gets cancelled but seldom goes off as scheduled. As I see LEO being treated more and more like crap by the system they are supposed to be a part of I am happy my years of service are long since over. Even the point of incorrect information (contact phone number) in her file isnt surprising. Administration lives in their own world, not always related to th real world inhabited by "real" LEO. Officer Wingfield, you have my sympathies. When I was a Police Officer I had been off for 2 weeks on my honeymoon. When I came back I was called into my chiefs office and spoken to about my lack of productivity over the past two weeks. I explained i had approved time off and was on my honeymoon. Case Closed. I guess in some ways LEO have always been treated like crap!

Outragious, I thought the relations between the police and prosecution in my town were bad.
Unless there is more to the story, I think the SAO in Baltimore overreacted.

After spending a night in jail as an officer, It would be very hard to remember the facts of the case for a "few days".

Power-control-freak-judge!
