Well I am glad to hear that APD is getting this service. The city I work for now actually pays the tuition and cost of college...they pay from 70 to 100 percent depending on what grade we get at the end of the class...example a 70 -79 they will pay 70% of the cost 90-100 they will 100 percent....It really is an incentive. The other option is the poster my cpl posted..."All employees new work incentive, Work or get fired"...

BRAVO!
That is great to see. My congratz to the Atlanta Officers. I envy you guys. I wish more incentives like this existed across the country so more and more officers can help better themselves and make way for advancement in their careers and so forth.

I'm going for my bachelor's degree through University of Phoenix...Unfortunately, my department isn't paying a dime...I'll deal with the student loans in two years when I'm done. If any you guys are looking to go back to school, I would recommend University of Phoenix... it works well with our crazy hours!
