Kel Tec PF-9
Thoughts on a Kel Tec PF-9 (9mm)???? Extremely easy to conceal and it is a good shooter. I like it along with my Glock 27 and Smith 36.

Be Safe,

Ed

Mouse guns
"Mouse guns" are a whole lot better than a handful of rocks.

Kel-Tec P-11
I carry the Kel-Tec P-11 off duty. Easy to conceal, holds 13 round with flush fitting hi-cap magazine. Plus the 9mm is a very effective caliber. I have not had any malfunctions after about 600 rounds.

AMT Back Up 45
Everyone's right. For those cops that refuse to carry anything larger than a Mouse Gun - the guy above is right better than a hand full of nothing. However a 9MM or 45 is always a lot better. My current (and I've worked with KelTec's for the last 13 years) is an older AMT Back Up in 45. Sure sights are minimal but out to 50' it's deadly.

I have to agree with Steve on this. The closest thing I have to a "mouse" gun is my Springfield XD-40 subcompact. I carry it everywhere I go including church on Sundays. I won't carry anything smaller than that off duty, IMHO it is only giving you a false sense of security and won't be worth a damn in any serious incident. Most of the gangbangers and assorted street mutts I run into are packing "serious" firearms, so why in the world would you carry a .380 or .22 off duty?

I use a Kel Tec pf-9 with an armalaser site. Only 8 rds with one in the chamber but you can carry another clip. Cheap, accurate, reliable, and 9mm is solid. I agree with the author where I wouldn't trust a .22 or 38, but 9 is fine. Plus it's super flat, comfortable, and it has that awesome clip for IWB carry. Smaller? Nah. 9mm and comfy? Perfect.
