Glock 32
2002-2006 this gun was carried by almost all NJ Fish and Wildlife Conservation and Deputy Conservation Officers( about 100 in number. They fired fine but after 1000 rounds or so, a large number began misfiring on the range. Problem, cracked firing pins. Three differnet quality ammunitions were used, but the issue persisted. Since we qualified four tiles annually it wasn't long before we had to trade the guns back to Glock for Model 19's. My firearm was on it's third pin in 2500 rounds. Thankfully it never occurred in a field situation.

I believe the Secret Service uses the .357Sig to protect the president.

.357 Sig
The USSS does indeed use the .357 sig, but they carry it in the Sig Sauer 229 platform. I love glocks and I carry one as a duty weapon (Glock 21) but I dont like the glocks in .40/.357 the frames are not built to take the punishment. The Sig 229 was engineered to handle the .40 from day one, its alot more than a .40 crammed into a 9mm frame.

Our duty weapon is the Beretta Vertec 9mm but luckily we have have our choice when it comes to off-duty carry and I carry a Sig P229 in .357Sig.

Glock, Crock
I know I will catch a lot of flack for this comment, but I think if you are going to carry a firearm it should be something other than a tupperware trot line weight. I have never liked Glocks and I have shot many of them in different configurations. I have never found one that I liked or that I felt was a quality weapon. If you want to go polymer go Springfield XD or HK. Other than that .357sig is phenominal and a powerhouse. Stay Safe.

.357 SIG
Geez Frank,

I've never read a more non-committal review of a handgun. Do you think this thing is worth a darn or not?

Glock Model 32
I think it would be cool and more protective to carry a Glock Model 32 .357 Magnum, well not safer but able to do more damage if needing to use it...

Glocks are not quite the "Perfection" they say they are and if you are in denial check out "www.thegunzone.com". I agree with TXRooper in that the .357Sig "is phenominal and a powerhouse". Those of you who have not tried the round yet will be amazed when you do. I love having the power of a magnum round in my auto pistol.

Glock 32
As a retired Sheriff`s Sgt. who is in a wheelchair (due to an on the job injury), I want a handgun that I can rapidly pull from my "bellypack" and either shoot through the door of my vehicle,,or if needed to protect others in public areas (cops know what I`m saying). Because of it`s size and , and performance, it works for me. It`s loud, (that is a tool),it`s accurate,,and it just take`s a bit of recoil practice. From an old cop

glock 32
I am also a Ret Sheriffs Sgt, i can carry anything i want, after using many issued pistols, at work over the years, i carry a Glock 32.357 sig, this round as the other Sarge stated will travel thrrough car doors and windshields like butter, and its very loud, no worse then a 40 cal in the recoil dept, and a very good Gun, i also have a 9mm conversion barrel for it so i shoot 9mm at the range when im short of funds, if u dont believe the 357 sig is a powerhouse ask any texas state trooper, they have had great success with this round al la one shots stops.....
