PHILADELPHIA, Pa.
--
A third man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Philadelphia police officer over the weekend has been caught.
Eric Floyd was taken into custody late Wednesday night in southwest Philadelphia. There was a $150,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Floyd had been on the run since Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski was shot and killed Saturday after police said he confronted three bank robbers.
One suspect was killed by police during a chase after the robbery. The third suspect was captured over the weekend and faces murder charges and other offenses.
The manhunt for Floyd brought police to Lancaster on Sunday, where they searched his cousin's house and questioned relatives. You can view pictures of that incident by clicking here.
Gun Used In Robbery Traced To Duncannon Man, Police Say
The Perry County teenager who police said has a connection to the shooting may be in more trouble.
Levi Swigart, 19, stole a gun from his family and sold it for crack in Harrisburg, police said. The .22-caliber revolver was used in the Philadelphia bank robber, according to investigators.
Swigart is already in prison on related charges. Now police are looking into whether Swigart should face additional charges.
