R.I.P. Brother
I give my sincerest condolences to the fiancee, parents, and two brothers as well as the co-workers and friends of dear officer Joshua Broadway, i didn't know him personally, but i do know how it feels to lose someone close to you in the line of duty. God speed brother, and though your shift may come to an end here, keep patrol over the gates of heaven, we'll meet one day.

My heart goes out to the family, friends and coworkers of this officer. It was a great comittment Officer Broadway took on by putting on the badge. He is a true hero, taken from us too soon. God watch over and comfort his family and friends during this troubling time.

To my fellow officer and his family
The right words to say are not always easy to come up with. At times like these there are none. You tell the loved ones everything will be alright and that he died doing what he loved. In this line of work that comment is never more true. To do this job, you have to want to do it. People do not police for the pay or the respect or glory. We police because we like to help, to be a part of it all, to be the first to know and take action. this is what he died doing and I am sure he loved it. My heart goes out to his family. My prayers are with his fellow officers. Just remember we keep people alive with are memories and I am sure after two years in Montgomery there are several to talk about, so talk about him often and let his memory live on.

To You
My heart goes out with prayers and understanding for the friends and family of Officer Josh. My only son was killed in the line of duty 10-09-07. I will never be the same again. Allow yourselves to grieve and it will slowly get a little better.

Death of Another Family Member
I am so saddened by your loss. I offer my prayers and gratitude to the family for allowing our family to be an extended part of yours. Across the country as we loose our brothers and sisters in blue and the thousands that are injured everyday, keep the faith. We feel your pain and your loss is our loss.
