Why?
How could they let a fallen officer lay on the ground anywhere for 2 hours. I was no at this incident, but I would imagine 1000 rounds of ammunition pumped into this guys direction may have killed him or made him surrender. The amount of time it took to get to the Officer may have not made a difference but NO man should be able to keep fellow Officers from their fallen... No matter what..

God bless you Sir and thank you for your service.

I agree, I understand tactics and all that crap....but when a fellow officer is down and in need of imidate medical attention....we have to do what we have to do to get to him...seems like they basically gave up on him...if I was in his possession and lied there for 2 hours i would have thought that my fellow officers just abandoned me to die....if he survived for 7 years after the incident..then you know that those two hours would have given him a better chance.....more likely then not...its upsetting..i dont know what happened i was not there...but 2 HOURS!!!!!! very upsetting....well our brother is with our good lord now...may he rest in peace.

Joseph Airhart Jr.
To shed some light on this subject, The Fed Boy's not having a clue about being the real police let him lay there (That is why they always have local Law enforcement on their task forces). Unfortunately that is what happens when you are the Textbook Police instead of being the real police which you only acquire by working the streets. Airhart went in first because he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately things went wrong. The Fed boys instead of returning fire (and lots of it) while somebody pulled Airhart out, well, they backed out and left him there while they consulted their manuals. Go Figure FBI was in charge, currently FBI Guy in Charge of the Chicago Police Department. I have never seen Officers so miserable and angry at a Department, Media, and City which hates them but needs them so much.
Little to no media coverage was given to Airharts death Only Obama Coverage in Chicago. However, the Chicago media reported no problems in the city. They failed to report the incidents where an offender shot at Chicago Police during the Obama celebration on Chicagos west side as he fled onlookers Chanted Obama, Obama. They failed to report the incidents of looting, and turned over cars. Luckily for this City Chicago Police took Action and prevented more chaos.

Joseph Airhart Jr. God Bless you.

The bad guy needed to die right after the officer was shot so they could render aid to the down officer. The bad guy wouldn't allow treatment?!?!?!? No, the bad guy gets killed so they can render aid to their brother. What cop sits by for two hours while a brother lays dying on the floor so some crook can talk to an "impartial observer" ? What a crock. I definately wouldn't want to work with those FBI clowns.

It pays to keep track of former partners.
Per the Chicago Police watch commander, a Lieutenant, who was incharge of the Chicago end of the reporting process. Those two FBI agents who went with Airhart were both females. They were there when he was shot, they did not fire back, and they ran leaving him on the scene. The bad guys leaves the apartment, sees nobody around and then drags Airhart into the apartment and that is why the two hour lag.
Also, Chicago Police detectives were denied access to these two female FBI agents for almost 48 hours.
Their, now well practiced separate interviews, were almost word for word identical.
Don't ever put your trust or confidence in the FBI.
Robert Hansen's [ FBI agent - and Russian spy ] wife receives a FBI pension. The price for selling out your country, to the FBI, is a pension and health care for your spouse.

The reason the cops left Airhart there, is because they were following orders. And those cops still have their jobs, pensions, paychecks and wives. As a cop your job is to follow orders no matter how insane. So if the FBI orders you to deliver a package, you will deliver the package, or you will never be able to get another law enforcement job. You have no choice but to trust the FBI. They are liberal arts majors with guns, trust that they know what they're doing.
