A Shame
It's a shame that in most cases, it takes an officer getting hurt or worse, before "The Brass" decides to take a second look at their policies. Our prayers and support for the family of the fallen.

How do you expect the public to understand police policies and procedures, when the cops can't comprehend let alone understand their own policies and procedures?

LAPD Chief Gates stated that his department had a policy and procedures manuel in case the riots broke out after the Roddy King trial. However, once the riots broke out, it seems that the LAPD did not use the manuel, so the cops were left standing around for several hours with no one taking the initiative to break out the manuel and start regaining control of the streets.

Resond to G's comments
My God son, you did it again. It is spelled Manual. Manuel is most likely how one would spell a persons name.
