CINCINNATI --

A prisoner walked away from a Hamilton County work detail Thursday afternoon and remains at large.

Marcque D. Cunningham had been assigned to work as a porter outside the Justice Center when he fled sometime before 1:30 p.m., said Sheriff Simon Leis.

Authorities said they discovered CunninghamÂ’s uniform in a public restroom on the first floor of the Justice Center.

The 38-year-old Cunningham was serving a 180-day sentence for a conviction on three counts of theft.

He was sentenced Nov. 13 and was scheduled for release April 4, and a warrant was issued Thursday afternoon for his arrest on an additional charge of escape.

Investigators said Cunningham last lived in the 1700 block of Queen City Avenue and was arrested in Colerain Township.

He was described as a black man who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with short black hair and a medium complexion.

If you have any information about Cunningham, call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
