Kentucky Police Capture Escaped InmatePosted: Friday, April 10, 2009

COVINGTON, Ky. -- Officers arrested a fugitive Thursday after he escaped the day before from police custody in Gallatin County. Authorities said 19-year-old Joshua Pickett Jr. attempted to assault a police officer as he was being transported from Kenton County. He managed to escape, and despite multiple reports placing Pickett in Warsaw, police arrested him in Covington.
