WARRICK COUNTY, Ind.
--
Police have recaptured a convicted murderer and another prison inmate 11 days after they escaped from a southern Indiana prison.
Conan Helsley, 20, and Kent Day, 45, were captured in Warrick County Tuesday after a car chase that ended in a crash.
Authorities say both men were arrested without incident.
Day and Helsley had been at large since guards at the Branchville Correctional Facility discovered them missing from their cell April 4.
Day is serving a sentence for murder.
Helsley was convicted on robbery and burglary charges.
