GREENVILLE, S.C. --

Three 18-year-old men wanted in connection with a homicide investigation in North Carolina were arrested at a motel in Greenville County.

Deputies arrested Quinton O'Brian Surratt, Trumane Daurice Jefferies, and Jonavon Lewis Hopper, all of Shelby, N.C.

Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office assisted the Shelby Police Department, North Carolina Bureau of Investigations, and local State Law Enforcement Division agents in the arrests at the motel near the intersection of Interstates 385 and 85.

Officers had been looking for the three men since Dec. 15.

During the arrests, officers seized nearly three pounds of marijuana and two handguns.

Surratt, Jefferies and Hopper are being held without bond in the Greenville County Detention Center.
