He's to young and immature. Another jerk cop. I hope nobody defends his actions. Although their are plenty of times I have conidered it. I'm sure it was funny as hell. But it was still wrong..... Let me go see what my wife is doing now...

I don't at all agree with what he did but I will defend the to young comment. Age is really just a number there are a lot of chiefs in their 40s and 50s that are way worse than some chiefs that I have seen and worked under that are in their 30s....just my 2 cents

30 years old and "Chief" of a three man department, in which he is the only full timer. I doubt very much he had extensive upper management experience in his career. You get what you paid. And yes age also does factor in.

I crack up every time I read an article about a one, two, three person "department". What's the purpose of that? Why not just allow the Sheriff's Department take care of the business? Can someone please enlighten me? I can't imagine a town of 500 being able to pay much, so you really do get what you pay for.

Politics and money. Everyone wants their own government so they make more money then if it was owned by the county. You must be a young Chief (LOL)

you are all making all of these chief comments and have no evidence to back it up. yes, he is 30, but he is the only cop. of course he would be called a chief. its not that a 30,40, or 50 year old individual could handle a job as a chief. i know a lot of young chiefs who do an exceptional job. also, the article does not even tell you the circumstances behind the incident.
