Good, about time we returned to rule of law. Note also that torturing the prisoners yielded lots of false information that wasted everyone's time and effort.

The note about torture not resulting in good information and subsequently wasting everyone's time is the media's perspective, not necessarily that of those that actually do the work or have seen the results.

I agree w/DC above, but especially agree w/Robert Baer's statement: "To use a contractor to ask the questions and not let the FBI [or any other appropriate LE agency rep at any level of gov't] guy who's collected all the evidence and knows all of the intelligence about these guys, it makes no sense at all." Let's see if all the post-9/11 personal empire builders heed these wise words.
