BOYNTON BEACH, Florida -- Newly released body camera video shows two Boynton Beach police officers rescue four people from a burning home Wednesday night.

Officer Daniel Montoute and Sgt. Widy Jean responded to a 911 call from a woman around 9:25 p.m. who said there was a fire in her house and she couldn't get out, according to a news release.

Montoute breached the front door and ran inside, where he found a woman unconscious on the couch.

Jean put her over his shoulder and carried her outside to safety. Montoute then raced up the stairs and rescued two young children and the woman who had been on the phone with 911.

"Thank you, Officer Montoute and Sgt. Jean, for not hesitating to run toward danger," the Boynton Police Department said in a statement. "You are life savers!"
