With its heavy payload capacity, the MAXSUR UAV system can handle a wide range of multiple sensory devices such as low light cameras, thermal imagers and more. To enhance SAR and active shooter mission outcome, powerful video downlinks can be added for live monitoring.
Additionally, the MAXSUR heavy lift system can carry payloads for tactical communication, such as wireless mesh nodes and radio repeaters to significantly strengthen ground radio signals and overall command and control.
Unlike other UAV platforms, this system from MAXSUR comes equipped with built-in redundancy for all critical system such as GPS and autopilot functions. Should any system fail, the backup running in tandem will immediately and seamlessly takeover, providing for mission continuance and safe recovery.
For transport and storage, the MAXSUR drone fits into a slender sixteen inch equipment case making deployment from any vehicle possible. Depending upon its configuration onsite deployment time is between five to ten minutes. When airborne, flight is stabilized even in high winds thanks to onboard GPS satellite receivers and flight controllers, making piloting easy.
The MAXSUR heavy lift drone can be tailored to meet agencies specific needs including documenting post activities of crime and accidents, mapping and adding an aerial perspective to training videos. The base package includes a stabilized gimbal for high resolution DSLRs.
