DeSantis Gunhide, a division of HELGEN Industries Inc., introduces its new combination plain clothes and duty holster, the TAP OUT.
Plain Clothes Version
The Tap Out system is the first holster of its kind with patents pending. It is a multi security level, ambidextrous, and multi use system that is extremely intuitive. Every officer in the department, left or right handed, can train the same way with the same operating system. It is built from a special highly reinforced polymer, making it very strong, rustproof, and able to endure all weather extremes.
The foundation of the Tap Out system is the Plain Clothes (concealment) version. In this mode, the holster can be fitted with either a concealment slide or a paddle. Both are adjustable for cant and the slide is also adjustable for height. It features two finger breaks, which is very instinctive and operate simultaneously; this configuration makes the system ambidextrous.

Duty Version
The Tap Out system transforms from a plain-clothes mode into a high security level duty holster. The basic holster body will be fitted with a “mode adapter” which
allows the carry mode to be changed in mere seconds without tools. The muzzle cover and Slide Breakreplace the “rail cover” and add an additional level of security while keeping the draw stroke very operator friendly.

The Plain Clothes Conversion kit includes 1 Plain Clothes paddle, 1 Wave Clip, and 1 Rail Cover. It is everything needed to convert from the Duty Version of the Tap Out to the Plain Clothes Version.
The Duty Conversion Kits includes 1 Hood, 1 Quick Connect Backing, and 1 Duty Hi-Ride Belt Hanger. It is everything needed to convert from the Plain Clothes version of the Tap Out to the Duty Version.
