Adamson Industries Corp., a leading provider of public safety vehicle equipment and installation services is pleased to announce a new product from Intermotive Vehicle Controls, a vehicle secured idle reduction system, the EcoLock.
The EcoLock automatically turns the engine off when specific conditions are met: key removed from ignition, vehicle in “Park”, battery voltage normal, interior temperature in your custom range. Vehicle is disabled if an unauthorized person tries to shift out of park. Automatically restarts engine when either condition is met: battery voltage is low, interior temperature out of custom range. Configurable idle timer and auto restart for a/c or heat while brake pedal is pressed.
Why EcoLock? Reduces engine wear and increases intervals between oil changes, fuel savings and reduces CO2 emissions. Easy to install, microprocessor controlled and helps to meet municipality anti-idling regulations. (Additional auto-starter not required, the EcoLock is the auto-start)
