Decima

Aug. 22, 2013

Ontario Knife Company out of Franklinville, New York, has always be militar-focused, but now they're switching gear to build knives for the law enforcement market, as well. Their lastest creation, the Decima, is an aggressive 3-inch tactical fixed knife, featuring a 420HC grey powder-coated drop point blade and a G10 handle with alternating black and blue layers. The handle is checkered to ensure a stable grip and the knife sits neatly into a fitted plastic sheath with an adjustable clip that fits into almost any rapid deployment anatomy. Designed to be unobtrusive to operators, the entire package weighs only nine ounces.

"The Decima comes with a Kydex sheath...that users can wear on their first responsive gear or additional tactical gear," says Eric Chuang, director of government sales with OKC. "It’s not something so big it’s going to be intrusive; it’s relatively low-profile."
