Xaver 100

June 12, 2012

Camero-Tech showcased the latest development in the XAVER Sense-Through-The-Wall (STTW) family of solutions at Eurosatory 2012, Paris.

The Xaver family delivers unprecedented real-time situational awareness - enabling the observation of multiple stationary and moving objects concealed behind walls or barriers. Camero's Xaver family has been deployed around the world for both military and Homeland Security applications (HLS) - saving lives by providing significant improvements in information gathering, anti-terror activities, hostage rescue, anti-narcotics operations, and many other urban operations and missions.

The new Xaver 100 is an ultra-portable, handheld presence-of-life detector providing military, law enforcement, and search and rescue personnel with critical information in real time by detecting the presence of life behind walls. Ruggedized and with full MilSpec, the new Xaver 100 introduces a more ergonomic design. Created especially for tactical and first responder operators, the system provides instant situational awareness and target acquisition data. It has a detection range of up to 20m, and can also operate in stand-off mode at a distance from the wall. Enabling wireless capabilities and remote operation via a PDA, multiple systems can be connected and act as a network of through-wall sensors, with up to 4 units operating simultaneously.
