This 8X42 monocular, available from CAA, is designed to replace binoculars currently used by military and law enforcement personnel. The light weight COMMANDERSCOPE is easily carried in a pouch on the soldier’s MOLLE and can be rapidly deployed to quickly identify distances to the target.

A COMMANDERSCOPE will eliminate the "double image" usually experienced with binoculars. Its large objective lens is designed for low light conditions and ideal for twilight and cloudy weather. A built in Reticule allows for more accurate distance assessment and the built in Compass makes it easy to acquire target azimuth measurements.

The COMMANDERSCOPE is waterproof (up to 3 feet for 1 hour) to sustain any weather condition.
