COMSTAR is a breakthrough full duplex wireless intercom featuring self-contained wireless headsets that operate without belt-packs or external antennas.
The capacity of each COMSTAR system is 12 users, including up to 8 “All-in-One” wireless headsets. Wireless users enjoy full duplex, simultaneous talk communication within 400 yards in any direction of the Com-Center base.
COMSTAR is totally portable and powered by rechargeable battery or AC power. The system is dual channel and includes a conference switch so that two separate groups can either talk privately or combine their signals.
COMSTAR operates within the UTAM certified 1920-1930 MHz band specially allocated by the FCC for voice communications. No FCC license is required.
