Max Call-Taking

Zetron announced its MAX Call-Taking system at the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) conference and trade show. MAX Call-Taking provides the solid reliability for which Zetron is known in an innovative, SIP-based, Next-Generation 9-1-1 system. MAX Call-Taking is one of Zetron’s MAX Solution family of products, which includes the recently released and well-received MAX Dispatch System.

MAX Call-Taking employs the latest, standards-based IP protocols and IT best practices to offer the highest levels of scalability, usability, adaptability and availability. It also offers a full range of features and functionality that are important to 9-1-1 centers.

MAX Call-Taking includes:

  • Intelligent User Interface – Innovative UI streamlines and simplifies operators’ tasks and displays only information pertinent to the event at hand. One-click operation improves response times and reduces operator fatigue. Meets NENA human machine interface (HMI) requirements (NENA 54-750).
  • Next-Generation 9-1-1 Capabilities – SIP-based and architected to meet existing and emerging NENA NG9-1-1 i3 standards. Compatible with Emergency Services IP Networks (ESInets).
  • Automatic Call Recovery – Design provides a resilient call connection even if network anomalies occur.
  • Advanced Call Handling – Features advanced, dedicated queues and interactive voice response (IVR). Employs NENA’s emergency services routing proxy (ESRP) model for skills-based routing.
  • Digital, end-to-end IP; 99.999 percent available – When MAX Call-Taking is deployed in a high-quality, reliable IP infrastructure, its self-healing protocols and redundant architecture provide 99.999 percent availability.
  • Efficient “Green” Design – Server core consumes 5 percent of the power of conventional servers. Reduces energy costs and heat while increasing reliability.
