LaserMax announced the availability of the LaserMax Uni-IR, aClass I IR laser, to the commercial market. This rail mounted, infrared laser beam is only visible through night vision devices.
The Uni-IR is the smallest and most lightweight IR laser available. It requires just 1.75-inches of any Picatinny or Weaver rail and has an additional rail built to mount other accessories. Mount on a pistol and the slide switch activation accommodates right and left-handed shooters. Or, opt for a Manta rail andmomentary activation switch and attach to any rifle or long guns. The Uni-IR takes just two 357 Silver Oxide Batteries for three and half hours of run time.
The Uni-IR is only available for purchase through authorized FFL distributors and dealers. These dealers and distributors must contact LaserMax for approval. The international export of Uni-IR lasers requires avalid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State Office of Defense Trade Controls, inaccordance with International Traffic in Arms (ITAR), Title 22, Code of Federal Regulations Part 120-130,and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
