Body Bunker Breacher Shield

Safariland's PROTECH Body Bunker  Breacher Type IIIA shield was developed to meet the ballistic needs of entry teams in scenarios using explosives. The shield and viewport have been independently tested against 17 gr. fragmentation with a V50 of 2,078 feet per second (fps) and to defeat  variety of handgun rounds. The shield includes features to address explosive entries. The adjustable helmet forehead padding system and horizontal foot brace provide the shield operator with shield stabilization during explosive blasts. The horizontal ambidextrous handle allows the operator’s arm to be kept in a strong-arm position when carrying the shield which distributes the weight of the shield over the entire area. The strapping system on the body side of the shield provides multiple-position carrying options as well as additional standoff protection against backface deformation.
