Spectroline MiniMAX Series

The Spectroline MiniMAX Series of ultraviolet lamps, from Spectronics, are excellent tools for crime-scene investigation, latent fingerprint examinations, arson investigation, counterfeit document verification, counterfeit currency detection and analysis of blood and other bodily fluids.

Measuring only 9 inches by 2 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches and weighing just 11 ounces, MiniMAX UV lamps are extremely lightweight and compact, and can be carried easily for on-site or field inspections. Their unique “shadow box” design blocks room light so stains and material samples glow brighter!

Powered by four 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (not included), each lamp comes with an AC adapter, nylon carrying strap and convenient travel pouch.

The MiniMAX Series includes the UV-5A (which emits long-wave UV), the UV-5F (which emits short-wave UV) and the UV-5NF (which emits both long-wave and short-wave UV). All three models combine mini size with maximum UV intensity.
