Crime scene forensics now includes securing mobile devices for data capture or preventing transmission or reception. Select Fabricators Inc. has developed a security pouch that prevents signals from entering or exiting. Made of metalized fabric, the conductive surface traps signals before they enter or exit a device. Works with all types of mobile devices including cell phones, GPS, as well as 3G and 4G devices. The pouches can include a conductive mesh screen that can be used to manipulate devices stored inside. Pouch sizes range from key fob size to notebook.
