Liberty AA Clamshell Battery: 

• 12-alkaline battery provides 8 hours operation at 2 Watts at a duty cycle of 10:10:80 (TX:RX: STBY)
• Unique cassette design allows the battery to be easily changed, attached to the radio or not
• Further enables radio communications by allowing first responders to operate a multiband portable radio in areas where power has been disrupted or otherwise is not available.
