Advanced Photo Video Technology - (TS 021)

This course covers Advanced Law Enforcement Surveillance Imaging techniques using digital cameras and camcorders.  It is the comparable to a college-level photography course but focused towards surveillance and law enforcement applications. The student will be given a technical understanding of how the technologies work and a practical understanding of how to get surveillance and documentary evidence using these technologies.   This 32 hr course meets daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  Students must bring a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) and a Camcorder to the class.  A laptop computer with WIFI and an imaging programs like Adobe Photoshop, Elements or similar is strongly recommended.
