Managing Technical Support Unit - (MS-010)

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage a law enforcement Technical Support Unit.  Learn how to better integrate your unit’s technical equipment to improve investigations throughout your department and thereby increase the number of successful arrests and prosecutions. This course will help investigators select equipment to meet the needs of your unit; and develop standard operating procedures, inventory, inspection, and maintenance procedures.  Participants will also study the leadership principals essential to success in a Technical Support Unit. This 40 hr course meets daily from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
