The fixed-blade Responder was designed in cooperation with rescue professionals to provide the right combination of features for emergency situations. The Kershaw Responder blade has a blunt, but beveled tip for safe cutting in close quarters, yet without sacrificing punching power. The built-in cutting hook zips though cord and webbing. The handle is ribbed for a secure grip—even in gloved hands. The Responder's blade is 8CR13MoV with Teflon coating to help it slide into tight spots.The neon-yellow Responder also has a glass-breaker tip at the butt end to break tempered glass with a single blow. The Responder is also available with black handle and without glass-breaker tip.Includes a positive-locking, multi-carry-option Kydex sheath.
