From Colby Systems Corp., the VideoModem VM-1 (shown), is a simple to use solution for sending Electronic News Gathering (ENG) and video surveillance from areas with limited infrastructure. The use of cellular networks for transmitting secure video streams allows for ENG and surveillance monitoring at sites without telephone lines or wired Internet access. VideoModem's streaming video and audio capability provides compression and encryption for secure video surveillance. Streaming H.264 video  can be sent over a cellular or Wi-Fi to the  Internet and then to the Colby Console software for display and recording on any computer running Windows that has the correct password and IP address
