Toughbook 30

Enhancing law enforcement mobility and productivity, the upgraded Panasonic Toughbook 30 fully-rugged notebook incorporates Intel Centrino2 with vPro technology, improved security, expanded memory capabilities and larger capacity hard drives. The latest enhancements include new circular polarization technology and anti-glare/anti-reflective screen treatments on the 1,000-nit touchscreen, enabling officers to work in direct sunlight. Even with the more robust screen viewability, the Toughbook 30 is still able to deliver up to ten hours of use with a standard battery. The Toughbook 30 also includes a concealed mode designed specifically for law enforcement, allowing officers to easily turn all device lights off (screen and LEDs) using a function key instead of having to power down the machine. This feature is ideal for jurisdictions requiring vehicle-mounted PCs to have their screens turned off while the vehicle is in operation.   Durability is a necessary component for law officers and a key element in the Toughbook 30. The MIL-STD-810G-certified notebook protects law enforcement officers' data with a sealed keyboard and ports, magnesium alloy casing and a shock-mounted hard drive. Also, embedded Gobi 3G mobile broadband allows law enforcement officers the flexibility to connect virtually anywhere.
