Stag Arms's Model 8 and Model 8L (shown) next generation gas piston rifles has been built from the ground up incorporating features that makes it run better, cooler, and cleaner than similar rifles. The Model 8 and Model 8L ships with a 5.56NATO chambered 1/9 twist 16" chrome lined barrel, front flip sight and gas piston system with the advanced features described in the bullet points below, and Midwest Industries low profile flip up rear sight, and adjustable stock. The model 8L has been specifically designed from the ground up for left handed shooters.
• Adjustable short stroke piston which is easily serviceable and all gasses vent away from the shooter and action of the rifle
• One piece stainless steel bolt carrier with integrated carrier key to prevent it from coming loose or being damaged
• Pads on the bolt carrier to prevent carrier tilt, greatly reducing wear on the rear of the lower receiver and buffer tube
