The Sentinel Police Mobility Vehicle (PMV) is an electric vehicle developed by Xtreme Green Products as a reliable, state-of-the-art, and efficient replacement to traditional bicycle and foot patrol.
The three wheel design and the size of the Sentinel allow officers to patrol on sidewalks safely as well as go through open doorways and climb 8" curbs when in pursuit or rushing to a crime scene. In addition to its multi-terrain design, the Sentinel is also designed with sufficient storage units to allow an officer to transport the emergency supplies difficult to carry on a bicycle or by foot.
The energy management and electric propulsion systems in the Sentinel allow officers to patrol as much as 80 miles per charge and at speeds up to 29 miles per hour. With its internal charging system, the Sentinel can be recharged with any 110 volt outlet, making it a cost effective and reliable alternative to traditional, fuel-powered, law enforcement vehicles.
