Helmet Kits

Setcom Corp. kits are available for all helmet types-half shell, three-quarter shell and full face-and most makes and models commonly used by police motorcycle officers. Thin, lightweight speakers (less than 2 ounces) are specifically designed for radio traffic in the voice frequency range and are loud enough to be heard on a motorcycle without distortion, even at highway speeds. A modular plug makes the speakers easy to repair or replace, should the need arise. Noise-canceling microphones dramatically reduce background noise, even in the most challenging environments. Mic levels (amplified for mobile radio configurations and electret for portable radio configurations) provide a superior signal-to-noise ratio and clear voice transmission. Tight mic output tolerances (+/- 2 decibels) create a simpler, cleaner installation, with no preamps to adjust they also ensure consistent performance from Helmet Kit to Helmet Kit.
