Simultaneous Use of Two Recon Scout Robots

June 30, 2009

The alternate-frequency Recon Scout reconnaissance robots will enable the tactical team to operate two robots in the same environment at the same time. As a result, you get two different views of the environment, giving officers twice the situational awareness and twice the tactical planning power. The alternate-frequency Recon Scout IR kits contain a paired robot and operator control unit, each one carrying frequency indicator A for quick identification. All standard Recon Scout IRs operate on frequency B, so there is never an overlap or any disruptions. Officers can explore two floors of the same structure at the same time or give each entry team its own robot.
