The VIEVU "vee-view" PVR LE 2 is a wearable video recording device designed for use by law enforcement. Different from the LE, the LE 2 has improved low-light video quality (ideal for night and indoors), an improved click switch, and the software has a digital signature. The unit attaches to the officer using a tri-clip design and records police activity from the officer's perspective. Vital evidence and documentation is captured assisting officers in report writing, evidence gathering, and proof of conduct for allegations against the officer. The video files are easily transferred from the cameras internal memory storage to a PC via the VIEVU VERIPATROL software and USB cable. Once downloaded, officers may view the video files, save to disk, or archive indefinitely. The VIEVU VERIPATROL software provides a chain of custody evidence log.
