SecurSwab SIT Collector

The updated SecurSwab SIT (Swab-in-tube) Collector is the optimal collection device to collect samples from a crime scene. Its cotton-tipped collector provides extra support to the shaft to eliminate breakage during collection and allows for automation in processing the sample. An integrated desiccant dries the evidence in transit, eliminating the need to air-dry most samples. The protective tube serves as a handle during collection and provides protection during shipping and storage. Each SecurSwab SIT Collector has four unique, matching barcode labels that can easily be applied to the collector, packaging or documentation to help ensure chain-of-custody. Collectors are individually wrapped in protective foil pouches.
