Tactical, SWAT Command Unit for Westchester, NY DOC

The Westchester County, New York, Department of Corrections took delivery of a large capacity Tactical, SWAT and command built by Odyssey Automotive Specialty. Based on a 2008 GMC 5500 and custom 20-foot walk-in body this unit will fill the needs of the department in many situations. Odyssey's first objective was to create an organized mobile tactical interior with office, command, and deployment functions. The well lit and insulated interior is outfitted with a formica work desk, heavy duty armory with a high security aluminum roll up door, weapons storage for small weapons, drawers, storage compartments for ammunition, heavy duty shelves in a custom module store riot and deployment gear and more.
