Digital Ally's VoiceVault wireless microphone has an incredible, extended range which saves audio to on-board memory when mic is out of range. The integrated GPS saves coordinates and time stamps the audio. Its voice-optimized audio and noise filtering also includes bi-directional communication ear piece which allows officers to communicate with each other or listen to suspects in the vehicle. The VoiceVault microphone allows officers to record and save audible notes and the officer down / emergency call button transmits help message and GPS location back to car. Its USB port was added for downloading stored audio and data or updating software. It can be charged in cradle or via USB port. Other features include a vibrating covert signal and button press/mode confirmation and true frequency hopping technology with fully digital audio transmission (900 and 800MHz available).
