    The lightweight 3500A 1 GHz Handheld radio test set from Aeroflex improves upon the success of the Aeroflex 3500, the industry’s first 1 GHz handheld test set. Integrated audio test connections and a new microphone interface allow for improved audio analysis and operation. Testing capabilities are available for AM and FM radio systems including power measurements, RSSI, frequency error, FM deviation, AM modulation index, SINAD, distortion and AF level. Sets supports a single-channel scope and a spectrum analyzer for extended testing, are P25 ready for support of P25 testing as additional features are added, and are MIL-28800F Class II certified. The 3500A weighs almost one pound less than its predecessor the 3500, making it portable and useable for field service personnel.
