Gunsmith screwdrivers

Forster Products offers a collection of specialty screwdrivers designed specifically for gunsmiths. These professional grade screwdrivers are hollow ground from tough, hardened steel. Unlike many common screwdrivers with bits that are wedge shaped and, therefore, tend to concentrate torque at the top of the screw slot which is the easiest way to inflict damage, Forster screwdrivers are designed to concentrate torque on the bottom of the slot where the screw is the strongest. The blade fills the slot and the blade is also the same width as the shank, so the possibility of damage is greatly reduced and the amount of effort required to tighten or loosen a screw is reduced.
