Micro sight handgun mount

In response to the requirements of a very select user group, Aimpoint Engineers have developed a mount to attach a Micro sight to the top of the slide on Glock pistols. This mount replaces the standard Picatinny/Weaver rail mount supplied with the Micro sight. To employ this combination, a user need only remove the existing rear sight of the Glock pistol, insert the Micro sight base into the dovetail cut in the slide, and tighten a set screw, locking the mount in place. This combination is outstanding from a shooter's standpoint, as it allows a red-dot sight to be mounted directly on one of a popular handgun without modifying the slide or adding a bulky rail system. The sight can be zeroed at any range, and increases a shooter's speed on target and first hit probability. The pistol with the sight attached will fit in many popular open top and competition style holsters.
