The OLYMPIA bomb suit from United Shield International, is a complete EOD ensemble comprising trousers, jacket with sleeves and collar, hand mitts, over boots, helmet with visor, ventilation/demister and integral communications system (hardwire and/or wireless).

The suit is constructed from NOMEX Delta T certified flame retardant material and this material can also used to cover the bomb suit helmet. The zonal armour system provides optimum protection with maximum flexibility and comfort. The highest protection level is afforded to life critical areas of the body with V50 ranging from 1900 m/sec down to
450 m/sec. These levels of protection can be adjusted to suit individual client needs.

Features of the OLYMPIA bomb suit are a zoned armor system; an integral groin/lower abdomen protector which provides enhanced abdominal protection; three part blast plates for increased protection to the neck, chest and groin; high performance bomb suit helmet with visor, ventilation and searchlight, cooling suit, communications and two part knee joints for maximum flexibility and good manoeuvrability.
