Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI) offers the latest version of QuickMap 3D, a data collection software program designed specifically for crash and crime scene investigators. The program has touch-screen activation, easy-to-use menus and quick data transfer into CAD-based diagram software. QM3D works seamlessly with LTI's UltraLyte (speed/distance) laser as well as the MapStar Angle Encoder, enabling investigators to collect points at the scene in 3D. The new version includes three file folders to support the Window Mobile Operating Systems: the Pocket PC 2003, formatted for the first and second edition and Window Mobile versions 5 and 6. The upgraded version gives investigators more field mapping options. QM3D now loads through an auto exec file, allowing for easier desktop installation.
