The Police Training Officer System from Crown Pointe Technologies electronically facilitates data entry of trainee Daily Journals, CTR documents, Neighborhood Portfolio Exercise, and Problem Based Learning Exercises and their online delivery to the PTO officer. The PTO System's centralized database provides for the routing of documents between the trainee and the PTO officer. When the Office in Training (OIT) submits documents to the PTO officer, the system provides the PTO officer notification of the submission. The PTO officer is provided with easy-to-use functions to review, comment on, approve or return documents to the OIT for further work before resubmission. Documents are formatted consistently and automatically, which makes editing and reviewing them more efficient. Each participant in these field training programs sees only the documents pertaining to his/her function in the training.
