Genetec's AutoVu Sharp IP-based license plate recognition (LPR) appliance delivers advanced digital video processing and plate reading performance. The ruggedized design of the AutoVu Sharp is designed for outdoors metropolitan environments. Additionally, the AutoVu Sharp provides the advantages of having sophisticated analytics residing on the edge, as well as simplified installation and configuration, and reduced network load and head-end processing. The AutoVu Sharp boasts unequalled precision as it automatically reads plates of parked or moving vehicles up to 140 mph (225 km/h). This rugged LPR device also has the ability to read license plates spanning two lanes of traffic and is available in a variety of configurations, depending on the specific needs of each application.
