LCD Monitors

Dec. 17, 2007

A better picture means better surveillance. That's the idea behind two new LCD monitors from Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group. Both the 17-inch model (P1730A) and the 19-inch model (P1930A) deliver 1280 X 1024 resolution and offer a 700:1 contrast ratio, 5:4 aspect ratio, and 300 cd/m2 brightness. The result is a picture that is brighter, crisper and more stable. The space-saving monitors measure less than three inches deep and feature VESA 100 mounting, which eliminates the need for additional wiring and gives users more placement options. Two audio speakers and Picture-In-Picture functionality are built in, and simple "plug-and-play" connectivity means the monitors work with commercially available analog and IP cameras, DVRs and personal computers.
