    Taurus offers is Model 856 revolver in several configurations. The Hy-Lite magnesium model weighing 13.2 ounces and the .38 Special featuring an ultra-strong and ultra-lightweight magnesium frame. In addition Taurus offers a standard version of the Model 856 in Blue or Matte Stainless in a six-shot .38 Special +P. The firearm is hammer forged with a soft rubber grip for comfort. Standard features on the Model 856 include the Taurus Security System that allows users to securely lock the gun using an inconspicuous key-lock.
